Henley Womens Regatta

Henley Women’s Regatta
This weekend the women’s squad travelled south to race at HWR. The women’s squad raced in a championship eight, two aspirational academic eights, an aspirational academic four and a composite championship eight with Tyne.
All five of these boats qualified for side by side racing, with the academic eights, Tyne composite and four being knocked out after the heats. Our Championship eight had the best result ever had in this event since 2014! Making it to the semi-finals, beating Thames A and then leading Leander to the Fawley and holding contact in a very tight race.
With the first eight having pre-qualified our second and third eights now turn their attention to Henley Royal qualifiers.
