Metropolitan Regatta

The squads headed to Eton Dorney this weekend for the Metropolitan Regatta, coming away with a solid weekend of racing and a 1st place finish in the Open Academic Coxless Four.

On Saturday, the women’s first eight won the B Final, the second eight came 2nd in the C Final & the third eight came 8th in the F Final. The men’s first 8+ came 4th in the D Final, the second eight came 5th in the E Final, the third eight won the G Final, and the fourth 8+ came 8th in the K Final. The women’s first eight also won the Open 8+ L Final. The first men’s coxless four came 7th in the B Final and the second men’s coxless four came 8th in the C Final. The first men’s coxed four came 8th in the A Final and the second coxed four came 6th in the C Final.

On Sunday, the women’s first eight came 6th in the A Final, the second eight came 6th in the B Final and the third eight came 2nd in the E Final. The men’s first eight won the B Final, the third eight came 7th in the D Final, the second eight came 3rd E Final and the fourth eight came 6th in the H Final. The first men’s coxless four came 1st in the B Final, and the second coxless four came 4th in the C Final and won the Academic Coxless Fours category. The first coxed four came 5th in the A Final and the second coxed four came 3rd in the C Final.
