Henley Royal Regatta

Prince Albert Challenge Cup A: The first of our prequalified crews, this four raced Riverfront Recapture on the Wednesday, winning by 3/4 of a length. On the Thursday, they raced the University of San Diego and won by 1 1/2 lengths. On the Saturday, in an exciting race, they raced Edinburgh University, and lost by 1/3 of a length.

Island Challenge Cup A: A crew that for the second time made history, reaching the final on the Sunday where they eventually missed out on winning by 3 lengths in a record breaking time down the course. Having beaten the University of Saint Andrews by 3 lengths on the Thursday, and then beating Oxford University on the Friday by 1 1/4 lengths, they faced previous winners of the event, Oxford Brookes “A” on the Saturday. In the most exciting, and nail biting race of the whole regatta, this crew beat Oxford Brookes by just 1 foot, and made their way to the final on the Sunday, where they fought hard to race Rutgers, who eventually took the win.

Temple Challenge Cup A: The third, and last, of our prequalified crews, this eight raced on the Wednesday against MIT, winning by 3/4 of a length. On the Thursday, they came up against the University of Virginia and lost by 3/4 of a length.

Island Challenge Cup B: Having raced at qualifiers, and being one of the 13 crews that was successful, this eight came up against the eventual winners of this event, Rutgers “A”, losing by 4 lengths.

Island Challenge Cup C: Was the third non-qualifying crew.

Temple Challenge Cup B: Was the eighth non-qualifying crew.

Prince Albert Challenge Cup B: Was the seventh non-qualifying crew.
